I have a 2006 Tahoe that has developed a weird problem. I was pulling out of a parking lot and turning when I heard a sound like a vacuum pump or canister activating and the the engine would not accelerate and the brakes tried to activate. I was out of town but I took it to a GM Dealer in Dallas to check. They said their tester showed the from wheels turning at 3mph and at the same time the rear wheels turning at 27mph. The mechanic said probably the transmission? I made it back home and took it to the local Chevy dealer and they charged me $140 and said the ebcm had lost its programming so they reprogramed it. Took it home and the next day and still doing the same thing. I've taken it back but before they give me a $1000 estimate I thought I would see if any of you have seen such a thing. By the way no codes are being created!
