Truck Died

As per my profile, I have a 2009 GMC Sierra. It has been great, but twice today it died in the middle of traffic waiting to turn. The temperature outside was 103, and I had been driving it straight for about 4 hours. Could that have been why or should I take it to the dealer? It wasn't running hot...all gauges were normal. This is my first GM vehicle, so I didn't know if this was something that happened sometimes in extremem heat or if I should contact the dealer. Thanks.

I'd take it into the dealer and let them figure it out. Before you do check the easy stuff like battery cables.
