Front Differential Fluid Contamination

I have a 2007 2500 HD Silverado (new style) 6L 4x4, 30K mi.

 

Since I pull a 10K lbs fifth wheel about 33% of the mileage I decided to change the fluids in the differentials. The front differential was milky, and from a search here it would appear to be water in the fluid. I will have to find out how the water got in .... but my question ...... Do I need to somehow flush out the differential, and if so, how and with what?

I would just do a good drain/fill. Drive it around on some grass/dirt in 4x4 to get it all mixed up and do another drain/fill and you'll be set.

also make sure that your front end vent tube is intact and high enough to keep water out..
