What is everybodies rpms at 65-70 with the 6.0 liter and 3.73 gears?

Mine is at around 2000rpm. Seems high to me.

That's about right, as I have 4.10 and run 2200-2300 going 70.

Sounds right. 3.73 is a low gear. My 5.3 is around 2K at 70 or so. I have 3.42s (and a 4-speed).

the difference between the 3.73 and the 4.10 is just about 250 rpm..IMO not enough to cause mpg loss. it's why i would go 4.10 over 3.73 any day..don't get me wrong, 3.73 is a good all around gear for most people, but when i need the extra pull power i have it.

My 6.0 with 3.73 gears at 65mph is at 1900rpms.

My 5.3 with 3.73 is right around 2000 rpms @ 70 mph.

You can calculate the rpm. Need final drive ratio, ie 6sp final gear is .67 I think...so .67 x 3.73= 2.5.

(2.5 x 70 x336) / tire size say 32= 1837 rpm....according article?? sounds low to me..maybe off?? 4.10s comes out to 2019 rpm??
