Ac Problem 2007 Denali

My wife's Denali suddenly is blowing cold air on the drivers side and very hot air on the right side. If the vehicle is turned off it may be normal on the next start up or may not be. Also one day just driving the problem suddenly occurred. I have no idea what we are dealing with. It is out of warranty. It makes no difference if on full auto or if the selection is made for individual right and left settings. The problem is the same.

Seems like a blend door motor to me. Maybe bad or out of sync, if it's not making any clicking noise like they sometimes do.

Do a search for the reset procedure that's been discussed on here. My truck did it once and never again, but that was during a 16-hr. drive.

 

Hopefully you don't need a blend door repair on the pass. side...that's the sucky one.

thanks I didn't see your response so put another post up. Any idea how big the job is do replace a blend motor. If out of sync how to re sync?
