Driving Lights On Bull Bar

So i bought a set of hella 5000 driving lights for my bull bar and was wondering is there a way to wire them to come on with the high beams instead of running a seperate switch. I was told that i cant because of how the high beams are set up on these trucks. Is this true or can I use a relay to one of the high beam wires. Thanks

You can use a relay, but it would have to be set to ground to activate. Because when you turn your headlights on low beam, both wires to the bright light will have fire until you flip the multifunction switch and ground one of those wires and the lights come on. You find which wires grounds and hook a relay to that wire and that should be good enough to work.

Just about how to wire it into a ground.

On the power terminal of the relay and one side of the coil, hook up your 12v power supply line. On the output terminal hook up your lights 12v fire wire and ground the light to the bullbar. Then hook the other side of the relay coil to the wire on one of you highs that gets a ground when activated. Still confused, I'll try to draw a diagram.

What if you just ran a wire to a "add-a-fuse" on the high beam relay (fuse) in the fuse box?

On that model of truck, there's not a dedicated high beam relay. Just a hdlp relay.
