Speaker Problem

i got a 2005 crew sierra. The driver door speaker quit awhile back, but would come on every now and then. Recently the passenger door speaker did the same thing. Today all the speakers do not work, but the tweets up front still work. One time when i started it today the rear speakers worked for a bit, but mostly all dead but tweets. Where do I need to begin to fix this problem? Thanks

You just need to replace all the speakers. GM speakers are notorious for just quitting. The tweeters, however, last forever. All of my vehicles, up to my 05 silverado, did this eventually.

I was thinking I had a bad connection somewhere, because they come on sometimes and dont other times.

It's definitely possible. But, if the tweeters are still tweeting when the speakers aren't working, then it's the speakers. Because the two front speakers and tweets are on the same connection. Assuming non bose system here.
