ls6 intake for 6.0 liter

will the ls6 intkae fit on the 6.0L in the 2500HD.  Does anyone no if the mass air sense can be moded like on the ls1 engines in the camaro and trans am.  Does anyone no about any free mods that can be made to the enginge to make more power.  What would be the best for the money mods to make more power.

In your case, with a 2002 model, there are really no mods available other than (I think... ) the "throttle body coolant bypass mod." Heres a link: CLICK HERE

I really dont feel that it is a signifacant mod though...

As far as your original question goes concerning the LS6 intke goes... I dont think it is compatible... For sure not without some sort of porting... Im going to look into it some more though for you... Ive heard of people changing their 6.0 heads to LS1 heads but that requires some enlargement of the combustion chambers given that an LS1 has a slightly smaller bore compared with a 6.0...

Anywho Ill look into the intake some more for you... Youve got me curious now anyway...

 To answer your question regarding the MAF sensor... I know guys who have ported them out using a dremel tool... I did one myself for my truck but soon replaced  it given that I didnt have enough money to buy a MAF Tuner... Which is an awesome tool to have and keeps you from stirring up the SES light..! Try to find one on Ebay... Im gonna include on this post a pic of my friend Omars Ported Mass air to show you what is done... he has a stock one (left) to put on incase he ever has to take it in for service.
