LOOKING FOR A USED LIFT KIT FOR AN 07 SILVERADO CREW CAB 1500 NEW BODY STYLE 4WD. IF YOUR SELLING ONE AT A REASONABLE PRICE LET ME KNOW. THANKS

Rancho has a rebate offer going on right now, up to $500 depending on which shocks/lift you get.

Also, Zone and Rough Country have decent prices...all depends on what you want and how much you're willing to spend.

Thanks for the info man ill have to check it out. I was looking at the 7.5'' rough country lift since its only $1,000 but would much rather find a used one for like 600 or 700

I'm going to give you my 2 cents, but its your truck so do what you want...

I wouldnt buy a used lift, unless by "used" meant sitting in a garage and never installed. You never really know what the previous owner did with it, how much it has been "tweaked" and overall, this can be a frustrating experience to save just a bit of cash. Plus, how annoying will it be to be missing a few odds and ends, and have to source those on your own (small brackets, nuts, bolts, etc).

I would save for a bit longer and get one from a reputable company, so if/when you have issues you can call their tech department.

I bought a lift for my Bronco a few years back, used. I'm guessing the previous owner had been involved in a wreck of some sort and the brackets had been bent ever so slightly, but enough to cause them not to fit square with the frame. Long story short, I probably spent more time fixing that part than installing the entire lift.

Just food for thought man.

Yeah you are right and you have a very good point too. Ive been back and forth on weather or not i wanna get a lift cause then ill need bigger tires ( 285/65/18 now) and god knows what else. then ive been thinking about selling my 18s and getting 20s. any suggestions?

I have the Rancho 4" (which is closer to 6") and running 285/65R18s. The tires do look a bit small, but I just got them about 6 months ago and dont want to re-gear the truck...yet.

I like 17" or 18" wheels...but thats just me. If you like 20s then go for it. I think the tires for 20" wheels are a bit more expensive though. And I think the 20s are becoming more popular, so you could expect to see lots of different sizes available, depending on which lift you go with. Just make sure you get the proper backspacing (again, lift dependent). Some knuckles require different backspacing than others.
