this can't be good.  i saw a 2003 silverado on ebay...and it wasn't very ugly.  i think they may have grown on me somewhat.  the competition still looks better (except for the tundra), but the silverado is beginning to look better also...i think it may have something to do with the color.  i really like the blue

I have Indigo Blue Metallic on my Envoy and it is an awsome color. I think it has a lot of purple in it too, so it looks lighter or darker depending on how the light hits it. I am with you Pacodiablo, I like the way the Sierras look and the Silverados are growing on me too. I don't agree that the competition looks better though. The Fords look the same and I think the Dodges are just butt ugly, but that is only my opinion.

Its a very nice looking blue, wished they could've kept indigo also.    And of course sunset orange.  I think the orange would look good on the 03 body style...

that truck is awesome.  Last time I was at the local dealer they had the identical truck there.  Only 2003 on the lot.

I agree Paco, I like that blue too, but it's bright in the sun though!

The 2003's must be seeling quick here in OK, I've seen some on the road, and I see them in the back of the local dealers lot, but they aren't very visible IN the lot. I'm guessing people are getting them quick, I'm pretty sure trucks with attitude are hugh in this state, I see more Av's every day than F-150's.(someone in my neihborhhod has two 2002 Z71's!)

I agree Shotgun.  I just get sick everytime I see them.  I went by the Chevy dealer the other day and all I saw was ugly trucks, couldn't even get out of the truck.  Had to drive down the road to the Ford dealer to look at some F-250SD to get my senses back in line and to settle my stomach...I can't stand the new trucks and I am sure it ain't going to grow, the Avy still hasn't grown on me among other vehicles...

I agree, they must be selling fast. I was working at my brother's house today and his neighboor across the street had a brand new 2003 White Sierra 1500 in the driveway. It looked pretty good.

Hello PacoDiablo,, i will hopefully be picking up a Marine blue 2wd sierra this week (wed.) I really liked indigo blue,, but there is no disappointment with the marine blue.  When that blue is clean and polished it reminds me of the old iroc-blue of a few years back,, with a hint of purple.  As for everyone who hates the avalanche,, i have seen pictures of the 2003 without the body cladding option,,,it makes the truck look muuuch cleaner in appearance.

Well the avalanche may look ok without the cladding but it will still have that *&^% eating grin!
