Installed Hid Lights Today! Pics Inside

Ordered DDM Tuning HID lights http://www.ddmtuning.com/products/101/ . I installed them today and have some comparison shots! I went with the 55watt 6k color. I originally had Silverstar bulbs in it...

Only took about twenty minutes to install the ballast and bulbs too..

Its plug and play. You unplug your bulb and insert the harness in the ballast instead... Then the ballast connects to the HID bulb. Very simple! Ill try and get a picture of the install tomorrow for you guys.. Give you a better idea.

Looks to me thats a major oncoming traffic blinder, people install these and never think about oncoming traffic and have them aligned to prevent it.

Added HID's to my Denali. No issues blinding people. However my truck has projectors from the factory.

A lot more cars from the factory are coming with HID's as standard lights.. Mainly your highend cars Mercedes, Lexus, Etc. They are aligned, just a whiter and brighter light.

No, they come from the factory in projectors with cutoff shields that block the light above the shield. The light that without the shield, would blind oncoming traffic. There is IMO only one way to run HID's and that's in projectors. Any other way is inconsiderate. You can clearly see the blinding glare coming off that headlight.

Well if I get a lot of people flashing their highbeams at me i'll put some projector lenses in it.. Drove it last night and oncoming traffic didn't seem to mind. I thought I may need projectors before I bought them but we will see how it goes.
