Im getting ready to do transmission filter and fluid change on my 04 silverado. I was thinking about going back with the new dexron synthetic fluid and was wandering if anyone has any tips or advice on this subject? thanks in advance.

Unless you do a flush. Your just making synthetic blend.......... Search for transmission flush on here....... You will find the procedure for flushing. It takes like 16 quarts..... I flushed and switched to Dex VI..... Just did it because the oil rep gave me the fluid for free.....
