Egr Aerowrap Hood Protector

I have a GM OEM hood deflector on my 2008 Sierra now, but like many experiences on here the adhesive is coming off leaving the deflector shaking in the wind. Looking at the EGR Aerowrap for my truck, will it work in combination with my billet grille?

I have the aero wrap on my silverado so far so good. But i am waiting for it to fly off on the highway. Tape always scares me...... good luck

I have the GM hood protector on my '10 Silvy, and mine does not use any adhesive tape, except for the little pieces of "mylar" tape that are supposed to protect the paint where metal touches it. Maybe mine is the "new and improved" version, but take it from me....it may be new, but certainly isn't improved, it's an absolutely terrible design.

 

Jason, your post intrigues me, in my search for a different manufacturer, I called EGR just today, and taked to a CSR, and shye swore up and down that they don't use adhesive tape on their shields for hte Silverado !!!

I bought mine through cabelas and thought it was egr, Might be another brand. It is holding up well and looks good. 3m adhesive tape holding it on and we will see how long it lasts.... Good luck and sorry for the misinformation on my part....
