My friend just took me for a ride in his today. HOT ####!  I love that thing.  I never thought it would be as nice as it was.  he has an eaton supercharger, intake, flowmaster 40 2 chamber exhaust, and a loud ass system, along with a whole s*%tload of other stuff.  I LOVE THAT CAR.  IT IS SO NICE.  I WANT IT!  JOHN, YOU ARE A LUCKY MAN TO HAVE ONE.

Well, you can figure out how much I like them seeing as how I own one.  Great cars, pack a lot of punch for FWD.

Listening to the flowmaster 40s made me realize that i NEED the 40s not the 70s.  Will the amout of interior resonation be similar in that car as it is in my tahoe? (BTW sorry about spelling.  is it Jon?)

It's kind of hard for me to tell.  In my truck I could barely here the 40's with the windows up, but then again they were sitting underneath the bed, but in a tahoe it's all open space.  You could always put some sound deadening material underneath the carpet, which might not be a bad idea anyways since it will cut down on other road noise as well.

 

I've heard a few GTP's w/ modified exhausts and they sound awesome, my only concern is making the ride sound horrible on the inside, right now it's fairly quiet and unless you're punching it you can barely here the engine and exhaust.

Jon is right about the resonation being different in a pickup and an SUV.  Remember the sound will be different having the flow on the v6 as opposed to the V8 too.

 

I have the 40 on my sierra and LOVE the sound.  I get some resonation around 2K rpm, but it's not too much for me

oh yeah.  In this car you definatly heard it.  it was pretty loud, but the sound was amazing.  i loved it.

I've got a 30 on mine, and it resonates a little at 2k also, but I don't mind at all
