2010 Crew Cab Noise Poll

I just put a deposit on a 2010 Silverado Crew.

 

I didn't notice any road noise on my test drive, but they are doing a dealer trade for one with the options I want...trying to get a handle on the odds that I will have a truck with the wind and road noise issues coming from the right rear passenger area folks are talking about on the forum.

 

I sure hope I don't hear it on the test drive when it comes in!

Yes, I get some "road noise" with my Silverado CrewCab. I have a Leer topper on the bed, however, which certainly adds to the noise and air swirling. As for your comment on road noise coming from "passenger rear area", I can't think of a logical reason why one side would be biased more than the other. Likely, the folks you hear this comment from are simply stating that they hear it more from the passenger side than driver's side, which makes sense based on direct line-of-sound.
