Well, I placed my order today.

Options ordered:

2011 Sierra 1500 Crewcab 4x4

Storm Gray Metallic

6.2L 6-speed

NHT max trailer package

Integrated E-brake

Power sunroof

Power rear slider

SLT Convenience package

Dark/Light Cashmere leather

Bose 6-CD am/fm mp3, usb radio

Extended range 2-way remote start fob.

Chrome Door handles

My Chrome toe hooks, Denali grill, Step bars, bed rug, tonneau cover, recon light bar, mudflaps, RC 2" leveling kit, and wheels/tires will all be transferred to the new truck. The GM Performance intake is coming off, but not sure if I'll be able to use any part of it.

6 to 8 weeks of waiting now.

You spec'd out a nice truck. Since there hasn't been a major refresh or anything between your '07 and the '11, I'm just curious as to why you are selling your current truck? Congrats on the purchase.

I'm tired of taking care of black, 52,000 miles and i wanted something different. Nothing wrong with my truck, I'm just ready for a new again. I normally don't keep a truck past 3-5 years and I'm getting top dollar for my trade. A few more years, that could change.

That makes perfect sense to me. My '07 was black and it only took me a year to get tired of taking care of it before I got rid of it so you lasted longer than I did. In regards to trade value, I'm in agreement with you also. These trucks are bringing top dollar now and I'm tossing around selling or trading mine off soon. IMO, the values will start dropping fairly quick once we see $4 gas again. I actually just got back from a dealer tonight who offered me $26k for my truck and I only paid $29.5k for it over 2 years ago...very tempting.

I don't know why... but im jealous. I can't follow your lead this time though because i don't really have anything to upgrade too... other than just having a "new" truck

What the hell do you have to be jealous about? Your truck is sweet. If anything I'm jealous of you and your lift. I don't have the money you do..

Congrats Steven! Sounds like a great truck, there are definitely days I wish I had gone with the 6.2L, but the 5.3L will have to do for me! I love the look of the Storm Gray Metallic as well, I *almost* pulled the trigger on a truck that color as well.
