2004 6.0l Silverado Power Cuts Out Randomly

When I am driving down the road (variable speeds), it will sometimes cut or lose power. It doesn't totally lose power, but it feels like I have taken my foot off the gas pedal and it is starving for gas. It doesn't surge or anything. It just gets sluggish for a few seconds and then it goes back to normal. I thought it was the fuel filter until I found out that there isn't one on this truck, besides what is in the pump. Can you guys give me some advise. FYI: I changed the oil and tranny fluid about 2,000 miles ago and put 2 cans of seafoam in a full tank of gas.

I'd say take it to your local auto parts store, most of them check the OBD for thrown codes. Sounds like a fuel pump, mine did the exact same thing, and it was the fuel pump.

Check your fuel pressure with a gauge. Then you'll know whether that's the problem or not. 55 - 62 #'s are the specs. Have you checked for codes?
