Squeak When Releasing Brake Pedal

Whenever I release the brake pedal it squeaks. Is there a lube point under the dash for this or is the master cylinder or brake booster going bad?

mine does same thing and it annoys the hell outta me.

my gas pedal squeeked and i sprayed WD-40 all over everything down there and it went away. i have stopped many interior squeeks with WD40

Had same issue. Went to remove brake pedal bushing (nylon at top of brake pedal arm). Was not able to remove easily, but did rotate bolt inside of the bushing. NO MORE NOISE. Hasn't made a peep in over a year since then. My girlfriend noticed too. It was terrible before.

 

Just grab a wrench, crawl in there on your side so you can see up behind the dash, and spin the bolt inside of the bushing a few times. Fixed it for me.
