I just purchased a 2008 GMC 2500HD Diesel with a Ranch Hand full front replacement. It causes the front end to sit lower than it's original ride height, which is already +2" lower than the rear. What is the most cost effective solution to achieve a level truck, without compromising ride or safety?

Get a leveling kit. It is an inexpensive way to gain a couple extra inches of lift in the front. They were originally designed to help the truck support weight of additional accessories like plows and heavy bumpers like yours. Rough country makes an excellent kit. I have one on my 1500. I suggest getting a set of new shocks as well. You can buy shocks for 2" of lift. Bilstien makes HD shocks for trucks with 2" of lift. Just make sure to get an alignment afterwards if you do decide to install a leveling kit. Oh and by the way, welcome to the forum!
