Wind Whistle Driving Me Crazy

Hey Guy's, I have an 85 Sierra k1500 I replaced the Vent window rubber on both sides this past winter. The passengers side is fine. the drivers side still has the wind whistle, I have tried everything to correct this. There is a new longer window seal for the roll up windpw that was supposed to correct it but it didn't, it just seemed to get worse. any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

anything that old will whistle to be honest... everything from gmt400s down will whistle a lot.

 

 

on the other hand you could check your door seals or if its an ext cab make sure the rear windows seals are good

its not an extended cab, and the door seals seem to be good. This noise is excessive!

you should check to see if the door seals are all pushed down all the way... i had a lot of noise from my passenger door a while back and i looked all around for a few weeks only to find a door seal had popped up just a liittle bit.

 

maybe theres air coming in from the engine compartment somehow...

We had this problem on our 82 crew cab. Turned out that the door was a bit out of adjustment from hinge issues and wasn't tight against the seal and we had a whistle above 35mph. Fixed that and no more noise.
