6in Lift Kit Question

I have an 02 gmc 1500 4x4 and im looking at getting a tuff country 6in suspension lift kit off of this website. (http://www.suspensionconnection.com/cgi-bi...scon/16959.html) I wanna know if any 1 has done this before and how hard it is to do? Also how much money am i looking at to get it professionally done?

imo have it installed by someone with suspension experience.... It was difficult enough to install a 2" leveling kit; The front end torsion bars are a pain in the rear to remove. I usually try to avoid installations that require removal and trimming of parts, but that's just me. Download the installation instructions from the website that you linked and assess whether or not you have the skills/equipment necessary to the job yourself. If not, call some suspension shops in your area and see what they will charge you if you provide the kit. Looking through the install diagrams they provided, I can say from experience adjusting the torsion bars is no fun, shock replacement is easy, changing out the rear blocks is easy... everything else is pretty intense to do without a proper work area and help. That's just my thoughts.
