I have a '92 chev c2500 with a 4l80e trans all gears work except for reverse what could be the problem and is this easy to fix?

generally if reverse is gone it means the trans is shot.... i think it has to do with the sunshell or something..p.s i am a greenhorn

i have a k3500 with the 4l80e trans, same thing happened to mine 3 weeks ago, trans was shot, required total rebuild, i live in delaware, near kennett square pa. if you are anywhere even remotely close let me know and i'll put you in touch with the best trans shop on the planet, no joke, these guys are what all repair shops should be. good luck
