post-76585-1286917153_thumb.jpgi have recently found out i can buy pieces of conveyor belting that are left over from another business. i cut a piece for my truck bed and i was wondering if there could be a market out there for these. they are pure virgin rubber with steel cables running through them. have to cut them with a partner saw! they have this design on them as they are for cattle barns, but it is 3/4" thick and weighs about 6-7 lbs per square foot, really heavy duty has a 30 warranty as cattle mats. in order to make money at this however i would have to sell them for between 125 and 150 dollars a piece. just wondering if its worth the trouble.

I would have to say it would not be worth your time. You would have to be well under $100 for them to sell in my opinion. I have been looking for a bed mat recently and it looks like you can get one for around $65. Not saying yours would not be better, but for most people, they just want a chunk of mat down so shovels, rock, etc do not nick/dent the bed.
