Onboard Compressors / Air Horns?

Does anyone know if train horns are illegal in Texas? I am thinking about adding air horns but I also want to be able to use it as an air compressor, tires, air hose maybe air ratchet. Has anyone done this? Will a 1.5 gal tank be enough for light applications other than the horns? Has anyone mounted a 5gal tank underneath or out of sight? When I used to drive cars, some of my friends would put these in their cars. I love em. They are very beneficial and I am not sure if it was on the news or not but one actually save the day by helping pull a man's head out of his ass when he sat at green light too long. Tragedy averted thank God.

 

I plan on adding one but last I remember it would not be that much to get a 1.5 gallon tank and those mini compressors are like 10 bux at Harbor Freight. The horn set I can not remember tho and then you need hoses of course

in my old truck i have two 24" western star horns. 5gal tank in the tool box and a good 12v compressor dont get a cheap compressor. i burned up two of them. i got one that was like $50 and its awesome. wired it to a pressure switch and good to go.

I was looking under my truck and I think a 5 gal tank will fit in under the truck, next to the drive shaft at the front of the bed. Should there be any reason to not do this?

Can't answer for Texas...but they are illegal in Tennessee...
