Testing Sensors

Hey guys_

 

My truck's telling me that I need to replace both my knock sensors... and before I make that (pricey) investment, I'd like to know that it truly IS a case of BOTH knock sensors going AT ONCE.... I'm skeptical to say the least. Soooo.... can anyone tell me an easy way to test the signal at the connection? Maybe using a multimeter or something?.... Any advice welcome.

Just my opinion...But...Your knock sensors are under the intake manifold...If you're replacing one, you might as well do both while you're in there, as it's a common failure.
