Under Hood Weatherstripping

I just got my '99 Silverado 1500 back from paint. The painter said he took off two seals on each side of the engine compartment, that look to me to be weatherstripping to keep water from entering the compartment. However, I can't find replacemnt parts for this online (the old pieces were destroyed when removed). They looked like they were about 2 feet long, and had self-stick backing. They were positioned in the channel, right under the edge of the hood on each side.

Anyone know what these might be "officially" called, so that I can find replacement pieces online? Thanks!

An update on this...I went to the GM dealer to see if they have the weatherstripping I'm looking for. They do. 60 bucks per side, for a piece that's maybe 18" long! Being that that is a little pricey, I'm trying to find a generic version, but I don't know what size it is.

If someone out there has a 99ish Silverado or similar, could you measure the H x W x L of the weatherstripping? It's located right above the tires, in the channels on the edge of the fender, under the hood. Thanks!

$60 per side is ridiculous! I'll bet you could use one of those tailgate weatherstripping kits and it would work just fine after you cut it to size.
