looking at these tires now instead of the Dick Cepek FCIIs basically to save a few. I saw good reviews on them and they look good. Problem is they dont come in 285/70r17 or atleast they arent listed that way, not even on general tires website. so i was wondering if i would have issues with this size: 33X12.50R17LT*. its the same height as the DC FCII in the size recommended. Also what does the LT mean?

LT means light truck

General makes a good tire

Just look on their web site and see what the actual specs of tjst tire is compared to the other. Its probably close enough that you'll be ok.

What do you want to run it on!

Just a daily driver is all. I was thinking about doing the zone 3.5 combo now cus they say a 33 x 12.5 with that. Im in connecticut and winter is coming. Snow is definite. My stockers only have 30k on them and are horrible. Im done with them and they are just about done with the road. they are almost at the tread wear marker.

You should be good running them with the 3.5. I ran 275/70/18s on stock rims with a 2" level

Those are 33x11.2. The generals are listed as 32.8x12.5 so with the 3.5 I think you should be ok.

A lot of guys run the 285/65/18 with just a 2" level. I can't speak on snow though I live in Mississippi lol.
