i have a 07 nbs sierra and i was reading the advanced remote start page. is p/n 19171128 the one that will work with my rcsb with rpo ap8 and c49 rear defrost?

 

in the locked thread i was reading discussion bounced back and forth as to if it would or not.

My brother-in-law works in the install bay at Best Buy. He just hooked me up with a Viper 5701 remote start/keyless entry/security system. MUCH better range than the stock keyless entry I had. I can start and unlock from across the 3/8 mile parking lot at work, as opposed to about 100 yards with the stock system

PN 19171128 is for the Advanced 2 way remote.

 

The standard one way OEM remote with door lock/unlock/panic/remote start is PN 17801236.

 

You have to buy the OEM GM accessory package, which consist of two key fobs and programming

instructions with a special code for the dealer to get the unlock code from GM. The dealer has to have

this code,which assures GM that you bought the accessory package. Sucks huh, but that's the way it is

and it works well once unlocked.
