Selling A "stripped" Truck

There seems to be quite a few people on here that remove all the OEM mouldings & emblems from their trucks. When selling these trucks have any of you been questioned by potential buyers as to what happened to the emblems & badging?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's all about preference.

 

If you think that it will increase the value, you can just save them. Like they said, just some sticky stuff and put them back on.

 

The VIN number will tell you what you need to know, if you need to absolutely prove something. Owner's manuals and everything else is ok.

 

If there's a question of why they're removed as far as the truck being repainted you could always just print off a carfax for potential buyers -- that'd probably run about the same amount of money as sticky tape, but save you a lot of time.
