I was hoping to get another month or 2 out of my tires but after the fun and games yesterday trying to get around on ice, I see it is time to get new tires. Has anyone run Nokian Vativa A/T's? The local tire shop reccomends them but I can't seem to find a lot on them. My last set of cooper's is maybe good for only 35k km's and i would like somethign that is gonna grip good and last a little longer.

I have Michelin LTX M/S. I have 20K miles on them and they are less than 1/2 worn out. Pretty goot tire, but expensive. In the past I had pretty good results with BF Goodrich All Terrains and Long Trail T/A's and some Michelin LTX AT's.

I had the nokian vativa's on my work truck for a while. They worked great in the winter, lasted about 30k miles, which is about average for what I do. I've tried most of the AT tires out there. BFG, Toyo, Cooper, GY Duratracs, GY Workhorse, Hercules and the stock tires that come on the truck when it gets replaced every 2-3 years. The Cooper ATR lasted the longest @ 50k miles and the Duratracs where the best performing all around tire. I wouldn't hesitate to get the Nokians again, especially for northern climates.

I have Nokian Vativas on my 07 Sierra Crew. Am very disappointed. Terrible on wet and snow. I have Nokian WR's on my Volvo and love 'em. Had high hopes for the Vativas but they are going after only 20K miles. Dave
