I just received a second set of Weathertech DigitalFit liners for my 2006 Sierra 1500 as I thought the first set was a poor mold. Unfortunately it's the same poor fit near the accelerator pedal running back towards the seat. The passenger side fits well but the driver's side has about an inch gap near the "hump". For what they cost my expectations were pretty high. Does anyone else have this issue?

Take a digital picture, call them, and send it to them.

 

 

Their customer service is tops.

 

My wife got a set for her enclave, and the lip protuded too high and the drivers seat was catching on it.

 

They sent me a second set they claimed they trimmed custom, told me to keep the old ones. All took about a week. They told me that it is mind numbing how much things change even within the same model year when it comes to something needing to fit as tight as these do.

 

Give it a shot

Thanks, I did send a photo that they said it would be forwarded to their engineering department. Their customer service has been very accomodating as they sent another set to check fitment. Unfortunately it was no better and they offered a refund. I really like the design just wish the driver side fit as well as the passenger. There is a buckle in the carpeting but it's not causing the issue. Sure hope I uploaded these photos correctly...

I had an '04 Silverado Crew and I had the WeatherTechs. I did not have the center console. My passenger side fit like yours, but the driver's side had a better fit than you driver's side.

Let me know if you would like to get rid of one set (If you didn't have to send back the first set). I have an 06 Sierra and would like to get a set before winter hits.

Center console was the first thing I thought of..... Interesting. I think these are the best mats available.

wow, that does look odd. I am surprised at that. We have weathertechs spread out all over a sierra and enclave. The fit around the mats is impeccable.

They are going take back both sets. They have been very accommodating; just seems like an engineering issue with the older body style. I have since purchased a set of Westin Sure Fit liners and the fitment is very good. Similar in design to the WeatherTech but unfortunately they haven't produced the rear mats yet (they claim after 1/1/11).

I have a question and a request for you Frank, do you have a bench seat up front and can you post pictures of how your rear liners fit. I just received my liners and I was told to trim the liner to fit which I did but it doesn't fit right, at least not without trimming more then where the line was.

I have the individual bucket seats and the full length console up front.

 

The floor liner in the back fits pretty darn well in mine. I hope these pics suffice for now. Will be out of town tomorrow AM until Sat and it is too dark to take pictures now for them to be any good. If you require more detail, let me know and I can take a detail shot of what you are needing....just be Saturday b4 I have time to do it.

EDIT: Actually, looking at your pics again of the back, I see what you mean. I must say, mine seem to hug the rear of the console better than yours do. If you look at the pic with the Du-Ha storage thing, I think you can see that I don't have the fitment problem that you seem to.

Actually, maybe these are better. I went out there and tried taking some and they turned out much better than I thought they would. Maybe these help....

Thanks Frank, I wish I had the center console in my truck. I think I can get it to fit if I trim more off but going by the line that is on the underside of the mat it doesn't fit. I wonder if its because I have the center seat that has the lockable storage in the bottom. I'm sending better pictures to Weathertech per their request.

Hello Sparkey, I had the same problem as you do with the rear liner. I read the directions that stated it needed to be cut to fit as well. Mine looked like yours when I installed them. I went back and cut some more past the little ridge on both sides till the liner fit right around both corners. I know the ridge is there to stop water from flowing off the mat but, I figured that being a high point I would have to be in a flood to get water over that spot.

      2015 Sierra Denali L86 cyl 5 misfire at idle

      Hi friends - first time poster. I have a 2015 sierra Denali with 150k miles, I’m the second owner and she’s given me 75k of great service. I run a pulse AFM disable device. Starting Thursday when I exited the freeway after a short local ride it started idling rough, with an obvious misfire shake and was down on low end power.  I got it home and hooked it up to my scannner and found no codes but in live data a pretty bad misfire on cylinder 5. I replaced the coil, plug and wire with all new OE replacements (Delphi gn10165 coil, acdelco wire and 41-168 plug). It’s still behaving the same way after firing the parts cannon at it.   I know cyl 5 is a non AFM cylinder so I am not thinking this is AFM related but I’m kinda at a loss. injector? Bent pushrod? It’s running too well over 1k rpm to suggest those IMO. Has anyone chase this issue before and what was it? Any suggestions?

      2017 Silverado L83 5.3l 6speed transmission Hello, not a new member but havent posted in a while and my old signup info isnt working so had to create a new account. anyways, I have an issue with my truck and hope someone can spread some light on whats happening: -when it goes to 4cyl mode it makes a clunk sound (but not when coasting or going downhill) -when in 4 cyl mode and under load it makes a load pulsating sound (not a tick). -goes away completely when in M5 gear or when plugging in an AFM delete. Im guessing it is one of 2 things but im not convinced of either to be honest. 1. lifter stuck in v8 mode 2. torque converter shudder realistically it doesn't seem like the TC as there is no physical vibration , and it never happens in v8 mode. but maybe? and wouldnt a lifter make a sound whether with load or not? any ideas let me know please. thank you!

      Which has made me wonder with the various engine failures of a few brands in the last few years, is it sub par materials such as lifters etc causing failures, or bearing clearances on the crank etc or perhaps bad designing of an engine physically or causing too much load on the components due to the hp/torque they can push out of them. Or is the oil viscosity and additive package of current oils or a lack of oil flow by an oil pump not able to supply sufficient oil at idle or under high load at low rpm. Or is it every item I listed that combined together has pushed the limits so far to the left that there is hardly a margin of safety left and add in some fuel dilution and too long of an OCI and premature engine failure is the result ?.

      He is not saying that an SAE *W20 will have more viscosity than a *W40 due to MORE VII polymers. He is saying that although multiple *W40 may post in the PDS the same or similar 100 C and 150 C viscosities that the blenders choice of modifier TYPE and AMOUNT to get his chosen base to grade will not give identical real world viscosities in shear and at temperature. All will pass the SII test but not all will pass the 100 C HTHS (unpublished value) testing the blender does and relies on to get the required by law "percentage improvement' referenced to his last great work.    Tis the problem with the lie. Once told others are required to support it.

      I have a `25, 1500 that auto sets on incline. Never knew that at first. I have the electronic shifter. Just think if it didn`t do that? Unlike a mechanical shift that you can muscle out of park, how would you get this thing out? That would be a problem.   What I found out later is, I don`t have to push the button to release. Just put it in gear.   Setting parameters? Don`t know if it`s possible.
