Truck Won't Go Over 100km/h?

I just took my truck out on the highway today and for some reason I can't go over 100km/h? Its a 2005 Sierra 2500 HD. Anyone ever have this happen?

diesel? The first thing I would do is replace the fuel filter. A plugged filter will really slow you down.

is the truck low on power, or just gets up to 62mph and then the power drops out. has it always done this? have you tried scanning it for any codes?
