This is more of a link to a how-to rather than my own. It's so simple.

I am doing it now and will update how it goes.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE XM RADIO IN YOUR FACTORY HEAD UNIT, YOU CANNOT DO THIS MOD.

Everyone else, read here:

Well...it didn't work at first. Why? Because I'm a moron.

I had the wires hooked up wrong. Once I figured out my error, it was fixed...and works so damn well.

Now I can have Pandora in my truck...and that makes me happy.

The pics that follow are just an idea as to how to route the wires an the finished product.

This is a fantastic mod. Works shockingly well...and is DIRT CHEAP.

Also, I'm not senile, I know this should be in the A/V area of this site...but we see so many threads about AUX/iPod inputs here in the FST area...I thought it would work better here due to traffic. I had to D-I-G through GM-Trucks to find the link to the thread on the Avalanche forum...it was not easy to find.

Again, I take ZERO credit for this mod...the boys at the Avalanche Fan Club deserve all the credit.

That is the beauty of Pandora...it plays what you like...

And that is the beauty of this mod...any source with a headphone jack can be used!

You have to have XM....as you tap into the harness that brings the information from the XM tuner to the headunit.
