RadoSilver Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 I was cheking out the fabtech website and it seems they have two ways of doing a 3" lift. They have a 3" performance lift and it seems you can just buy the spindles alone and use them with your factory system. Does anyone know what the difference is and what the price be would be between the systems. Thanks -JD
Cyclic Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 The spindle lift set up totals about 650 and the spring/arm setup is about 850. 3 inches each and can be combined. I'm using the spindle lift and I love it.
Zembonez Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 I have the 3 inch spindle lift/nitro shocks/rear blocks on my 2001 Silverado. It has been on it for a year with no problems. I love the fact that it rides great and gives lots of ground clearance. I run 265-75-16 BFG All Terrains and I only had to trim the front left plastic fender liner to clear everything. I was told by my retailer that the control arm lift rides rougher but gives a better off road suspension...
Cyclic Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 You gotta post pics, it should look almost exactly like my GMC. Even the rims!
