Egr On 4.8

I have a 4.8L 2005 silverado and would like to know where the EGR valve is on this baby. I recently had an emissions test where the result was high NO (1691) at 1153 RPM. I have done some research and high NO is caused by high combustion temperatures. The first thing I would like to exclude is the EGR but GM doesn't have a parts listing for the EGR valve for this model year. I see a bolt on unit on the front of the plenum that takes cold air in from the filter but also seems to have tubes on either side going to the block and the head. There is an electical connector going into a cylindrical protruding surface. Is this the EGR and if the engine doesn't have one then what should I be looking at? The engine is running lean so I want to take out the obvious causes first.

Look for unmetered air, either a leak from the MAF tube or the intake gaskets. Try WD40 on the gaskets, air tube and see if the engine speeds up.
