Exhaust For My 99 Escalade.

I installed 33's on my esclade (tires ) and basically my truck now feels sluggish... So I figured maybe installing a catback would help it get up and go. At the same time, Its not worth spending alot of money on it, its an older truck, older style (LT1) motor. It also has the dual inlets but single outlet type of muffler... I almost feel like making my own Y-pipe to make it a single inlet(for more options) and buying a muffler to throw in between... maybe gutting the cats while im in there.

 

Any thoughts? Or Opinions on which muffler, I was thinking Flowmaster. Or anyone have a catback or muffler I can purchase from them
