How Safe Is The Hypertech Trans Tune?

Yesterday I decided to try the Hypertech Trans Firmness tune on my GMT-900 5.3L Silverado. Was I surprised! It drives like a whole new truck now. I changed to the high octane tune a few months back when I bought it, and noticed a moderate increase in power but did get better MPG, so the performance tune did help some, but when I changed the shift firmness yesterday it made a world of difference. Now it doesn't feel like it's losing power between 1st-2nd. If this is anything close to what BlackBear tunes do, I need to start saving now.

My only concern is the wear and tear that it might place on the trans. I plan on keeping this truck for a long time, and don't want to change something that might screw up the trans. Anyone have any insight on this? Is this safe to run all the time? Thanks in advance.
