Ok Thank you to everyone who has helped me up until now!

I have a 1999 Silverado 4.8L 2WD newer style. The truck now for over 6 months has had this problem where it starts then slowly after a few seconds drops rpms and stalls out. I have new plus and wires, new Intake Gaskets, throttle position sensor, new MAF, Idle air control, fuel pressure regulator, the engine has been decarbonized by a mechanic and I have run through with sea foam. Sometimes it even requires me to hold the rpms in neutral around 500 to keep it running. I don't know what is going on. also it has a new air filter, fuel filter and a new fuel pump put on at the dealer. There are no codes being thrown. Any help or ideas would be great! Thanks!

That almost sounds like the same thing that happened to my old truck.I didn't change as many things as you though.I am not saying that this is the problem but you should try a new battery.MY battery was about 6 months old and my truck started doing the same thing.I started changing things with no luck. One of my friends told me to change my battery and i told him that my battery was fairly new. So, I brought the battery to get tested and they told me nothing was wrong with the battery. I changed it anyway and that fixed my problem for good. Don't know if this will help but when all else failed me the battery was the problem. Good luck.

At times when you've thrown that many parts at something, it's probably past time to take it to someone who can actually trouble shoot it correctly. Too many $$$ parts get replaced without being the one that fixes it.
