Silverado Speakers

Ok guys.....I have a 08 silverado regular cab. At around 40000 miles the passenger door speaker began cutting out at times. It would stay off for a few days or so and then all of a sudden it would come back on and be fine.it still does this but now all of a sudden the driver side quit completely. So half the time now I'm listening to JUST the rear pillar speakers. Now I'm not an amateur when it comes to radios and speakers and complete systems. I have installed many systems into vehicles. I have known blown speakers to resemble this kinda activity. I just want to know if anyone here has had the same issue and if so what did you find? If I can narrow this down before I even look into it it would save time and effort. I appreciate your time.

Typical shitty GM speakers, replace em' with some good ones and you'll enjoy years of trouble free listening.

I had the same problem a year ago with one of my speakers. I bought new speakers and I left the radio on when I was replacing them. Old speaker wasnt playing at all and new one work as soon as I plugger it up.

 

Just go ahead and replace all of your speakers.
