Need Some New Tire Advice

So I'm in the market for some tires to replace the Wrangler A/T's that I currently have. I'm going to college at Oklahoma State and because of the abundance of farms around the school I enjoy doing some offroading when I have the chance. Nothing too extreme just some mud and stuff like that. But I mainly drive on the highway going to and from Dallas and Stillwater, plus I drive the occasional dirt road. So my Wrangler A/Ts have been pretty good and I wouldn't mind getting them again, but I'm just interested in hearing what you guys think about the following tires.

1. Goodyear Wangler SilentArmor

2. Toyo Open Country A/T

3. Maybe the Nitto Terra Grappler or Cooper Zeon LTZ. Is there much difference between the two?

3. Any other tires that you guys would recommend that fit my requirements.

If you can, post pics of your trucks with any of these tires on them.

When my stock tires (Dueler's 593 II) finally wore out (65k miles), I replaced them with Master Craft Courser AT 2's & haven't regretted it. They're a little noiser on the road than stock, but definitely better in the off road traction area. I had all four put on & a front end alignment for $650. I have about 15k miles on them right now & they don't show any noticeable wear as of yet. I wanted a daily driver with a little bite for those time I do go play mildly off road, & in Georgia you get plenty of time to drive off the pavement. I don't do serious mudding so I didn't want mud terrain tires. These Master Craft's have been a perfect balance of everything I wanted, including the price to purchase. As far as your listed ideas, hopefully someone with personal experience can chime in since I can only comment on what I've had/put on my truck.

Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armour are a pretty good tire, i have never used them but know people who have. I always run BFG All Terrains, I think they are a deacent mix of off road traction and highway drivin and mine seem to last forever.

I found Firestone Destination LE for highway and AT for snow and mild off road to work well. I tried the Wrangler Silent Armour in the past and would not use them again because performance was poor.

thinking about gettting the 285. and have not seen them in person do they have a aggressive look? What i need is a tire that is going to be on the highway 80% and runing around the farm and back roads on the weekends.

... in the 285 size the AT tread looks more aggressive than the TOYO HT (highway terrains) ... but not chunky like the TOYO MT (Mud Terrains)

I have the AT tires in Load Range D tires in the OE size on my 3/4 ton truck and they ride well on the highway, are very stable when I am driving gravel roads and when towing my 5th wheel trailer.

you may not need Load Range D tires on your 1500, but I sure like them as they give a tougher sidewall and stronger tread footprint, which are both good when carrying heavily loads, pulling a trailer, or out on back roads or dirt trails......
