Rc 2'' Leveling Kit

I have a 2009 Silverado ext Cab with the 18'' wheels. I would like to install a RC 2'' leveling kit since most everyone on here seems to recommend it. I have seen a few pics of stock trucks with only the RC 2'' kit installed and although there is still a little bit of rake, it looks like it will do exactly what I am looking for.

I have a few questions for everyone that I haven't been able to find answers to after searching for awhile though...

Who has experience with a only RC 2'' leveling kit installed on their 07'-11'? More specifically, who has a good number of miles on with the kit installed? I have 28,000 miles on my truck, and I don't want to be wearing things out quickly on the truck. Does anyone have 20, 40, 60, 80,000 miles or more with this kit installed?? If so, have you had problems with the front end? Most posts I see, people dont mention miles...and the ones that do, are almost all brand new installs. I am looking at long term wear, and need some honest advice. It's just not worth it to me to be fixing things all the time. I greatly appreciate the help. I want to order soon! I'll post pic if I go for it!

You mean 30,000 right? Have you had to align it again since the install, or had bad wear on tires? Any front end noise?

I installed mine a few weeks ago. i dont have lots of miles yet. i dont see how problems can occur unless installed wrong or no aligmment done. yes you need an alignment. i did one the day after i installed the kit.

About 20,000 miles on my 07 and when I traded, I took it off and installed on my 2011.

No issues

Thanks for the replies. I'm just posting in here periodically trying to keep the thread current.

PLEASE! Anyone with experienced input....good or bad...drop a line. I have read of only a very few people having problems. I just hope if guys have had probs, they aren't holding out! Not alot of high milage people on here with the kits either eh?

Not to sound like a jerk, but don't you think that if people had problems with them they would post them on here? If you look at other posts, the members on here have no problem letting other members if a product is bad. I bought the RC level kit after researching and asking members questions on here. I got mine installed and had an alignment done within 30 minutes of having them put on. All the members told me that was the way to make sure that everything is correct. If you want them, buy them--I don't think you will have any problems at all.
