I have a 4L60E (M30) in a 2002 GMC savana 1500 with a 5.7 that has had a hard parts failure, I also have a 4L60E (M30) from a 98 silverado 1500 4x4 with a 5.7. Other than the electronics, valve body, outputshaft etc...am wondering if these are interchangable? If so, are there any other issues that I need to address to do a swap?

 

Also, if I just end up rebuilding the trans in the 02 GMC I am considering upgrading to the Zpak clutches and the Beast sun gear shell. Are there any other upgrades that would be necessary as a result of those upgrades? And will it have any affect on the electronics?
