Are Silverado And Sierra Tailgates Identical Gmt-900?

I have a tailgate that I am trying to sell and I am curious if the tailgate from a '08 silverado will go on nnbs sierra too or just on the silverado? My guess is that they are interchangeable just trying to get a confirmation.

well the lock obviously but the "EZ" Lift makes sure you don't hurt yourself lifting that heavy tailgate.

I agree, I have it on my truck. I did a comparison the other day from my buddy's truck and I couldn't tell the difference. It felt probably only a 2-5lbs difference between the tailgates... perhaps a useless upgrade from the factory?
