Body Lift

Looing for some input on body lifts. What are people liking these days 1.5'' or 3'' lift? Is the installation the same? What is that max size tire with each of these kits? Looking to add the lift then upgrade my rims and rubber! Any thoughts, advice or guidance would help. Thanks

I would say if you are going to be doing a body lift, might as well get a 3 inch. My specs are in my sig

There is absolutely no need in delaying the inevitable. Time and time again 98% wish they had gone bigger.

Yea I guess you are right there is need to delay the inevitable. After looking at this forum it seems that alot people like the 3'' lift. Just one day after installing the RC leveling kit I already was looking to go higher. What is the max size tire you can fit with the 3'' kit?

never realized how addicting this can be :sigh:

I currently have 285 70 17s because I bought the tires well before I bought the body lift. I'm either going to get 285 75 17s, or 295 70 17s.

Ahh, indeed it is addicting. It's always best when lifting to go a little higher than you're comfortable with. It's a lot like women and boob jobs...they start off conservative and then wish they had gone bigger. :wtf: With 5" of lift, something equivalent to a 33x12.50 is a pretty perfect fit depending on wheels.
