Engine Light

i have a 03 silverado 1500hd ive took it 3 or 4 times to different shops to get it checked because it has the reduced engine power and check engine light on...they said it wus the throttle body the first time so i changed it then a few days later it came back on and i took it again nd they said it wus the same thing again so i changed it again and for some reason a few days later again the light turned on so i need some suggestions on what it could be?

what exactly do you mean on the codes??

When you scan the computer it gives you p codes, for example p0300 or p0171. We want those codes.

i dont know to be honest..the first time i took it they said something about some codes and it worked when i got it back but like a few days later the reduced engine light came back on so i took it back and got the throttle body changed but it still isnt that so i dont know what it can possibly be? you think if i take it it to a gm company they could possibly fix it because mechanics have tried but they dont manage to fix it

Most auto parts stores will loan you the orange scan tool to pull the codes for free. Let us know what numbers they are

Those have many problems with the connector at the throttle body itself and also the ground wires that are on the motor at the back of the intake on the head. To check the pigtail a light pull on each wire to insure there is not seperation under the coating will get it done and the grounds at the rear will just require a visuall inspection. There are many other possibilities of coarse but these are just two common failures on those.
