New Member And New Truck From Ga

Hey guys im a new member who lives in PA but will be moving down to GA on Thursday to start my new job. Just bought a new 2010 Silverado 1500 a few weeks back and cant wait to start doing some work to it when I get some extra cash. I look forward to checking out some of your guys trucks and getting a better idea of what I want to do with mine.

This is the only pic I have of it now, but will post some more after I move and get settled in and dont have to deal with the snow. Figured I would throw up a pic of my other ride as well. ('07 CBR 600RR) Hopefully I posted the pictures right

Here is a couple pics of my old/first truck. It was a '99 Silverado 1500 with a few modifications like billet grille, tonneau cover, smoked tail light covers, tinted windows, summit racing glass packs, clear corners, and a few things I painted. Unfortunately I fell asleep at the wheel and went off a bank totaled the truck. Had a tree go through my windshield and out the back window.

Thanks, I have enjoyed every second of owning the CBR. Just replaced its fork seals the other day though because i've been having a little too much fun with it. As far as the truck goes, I fell asleep at the wheel and went off a steep bank taking a couple trees out and rolling it a few times. It came to a stop on its roof and I was actually able to climb out the back window with only a few scrathes.

Hello and welcome!

Sucks to see the old truck, but the new one is SWEET. I fell asleep at the wheel once in one of my old trucks. Hit a tree, a fence, then a power pole which then flipped me all over, i rolled it 5 or 6 times. I too got lucky and crawled out with only a busted up nose from my sunglasses digging in when i slammed into the steering wheel. THEN a guy in a lifted z71 totalled out my Acura TL by driving over me at about 40mph, him being at fault for being drunk and driving down the highway the wrong way. Got out of that with only scratches from glass. Then on my 08 GSXR 750 modded pretty well...... well lets just say that power poles i need to steer clear of I layed it down and my body flew in to a power pole breaking my arm completely in half and fracturing a few bones in other places. DAMN gravel on the turn

Damn Jdub, sounds like you've had some close calls. Never like to hear about a rider going down. I've been fortunate enough to keep the rubber side down on my bike. I did have someone knock my bike over and run while I was at Pitt last summer. Left me with a broken mirror and some scratches on my rear cowl.
