Looking to purchase some new Tires (Nitto Terra Grapplers) and rims from the internet for the best deal. 305/55/20 and 20 inch rims. I just purchased a 3 inch zone body lift and already have a rough country leveling kit, so these should fit? Any suggestions on websites offering great deals are welcome. :(

Im not too sure about the best pricing but your setup should fit fine, depending on the width/offset of the wheels you choose. Any ideas on wheels?

Blackout,

You seem to be one of the most knowledgeable people on this forum. I am a layman and do not know that much about rims and tires. What is the offset? What width and offset would you reccomed? I know I want 20'' black rims similar to what you are riding on. Advice is appreciated

Thanks

I don't know that I'm one of the most knowledgeable, but thanks.

Backspace and offset are two ways of describing where the wheel sits in relationship to the hub. As such, there is a relationship between the two making it possible to convert from one to the other.

Backspacing is the easiest to understand. It is simply the distance from the back of the mounting pad to the back lip of the wheel. It is measured by laying the wheel on its face, placing a straight edge across the wheel, and then measuring down to mounting face. The higher this measurement the more the wheel is pushed inboard towards the cars centerline. Offset is the distance from the mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel, expressed in millimeters. Positive offset means that the wheels are pushed inboard towards the centerline of the car like a car with front wheel drive. Negative means that the wheels are moved outboard towards the fenders, widening the track.

As a general rule of thumb you will want a wheel that is 8.5" - 9" wide with an approximate offset of +18mm. If you can come up with a list of wheels that you are interested in, everyone can better help you in picking the right fit.
