6.2l Programmers

Hi I am new to this forum. I have a 2010 Chevy 4x4 6.2L W/Max towing package 3.73 gears. I have Flomaster exhaust and a EDGE Programmer I have really noticed a big difference in the power from the stock program. Is edge the best programmer or they all about the same.

Def. not all created equal. If you want the most bang for the buck, a custom tune is what you want. Otherwise, each of the handheld programmers have their strong points and their weak points.

The superchips cortex is the only handheld that lets you change trans tuning for your truck. That would be my choice out of the standard handheld hands down.

Best of both worlds though is the Autocal that you can get from BlackBear.

Yes the EDGE programmer will let u change transmission settings and you can set to towing I think four different settings. I did read the about the black bear tuner sounds pretty awesome.

I have a 2010 Sierra 6.2L 3:73 max towing with K&N cold air intake. I bought a Hypertech 32004 Max Energy. Just installed it yesterday. Used 91 tune and left all other settings at stock. I do want to play with the shift points ect eventually. Is the BB far superior? The Hypertech had good reviews.

Does anyone have good settings for this programmer?
