99 Burb Multiple Drivetrain Squawks

Last year I purchased a very nice 99' Burb, and have all the typical GM snags for the drivetrain. I have the clunk when stopping and easing from the start. I also have the 246 transfer case pump rub issue that I didn't know about until it ate a hole in itself and toasted the innards. Right now due to financial reasons I am limping it for local driving with a JB Weld repair on the transfer case, but the tailshaft seal is leaking, I'm guessing due to wobulation in TC and possibly now a worn yoke. I may also have a rear diff seal leaking but is hard to tell for sure due to TC fluid flying back. I have read all about both issues and am upset that there is sooo many dissatisfied GM truck owners and GM doesn't stand behind any of these obvious design flaws. I work for Cessna and if any of our corporate jets had fleet issues like this the FAA would be all over us, not to mention we would issue a warranty sevice bulletin for the fix.

I am thinking about putting the merchant-automotive re-engineered O/H TC($1400) in and am guessing I should do the nickel plated yoke($230) also and am looking for any experienced input on my decision or maybe any cost-cutting or time saving tips as money is an issue.
