What's up everyone? I've got a 1995 Chevy K1500 Silverado 4x4 that I inherited from my father when he passed in 2007. When I was a kid he was always working on old C10's and Chevy stepsides. My dad traded trucks almost every year and usually had 2-3 at a time. This truck means a lot to me because of that history so I want to keep it in good shape and hopefully my daughters will be into it when they are older.

I look forward to meeting you guys and learning a lot more about my truck!

Hey SRTCop3. I'm in VA as well. I just bought a 2008 GMC four dorr Z71 4x4 and also have an 89 K5 Blazer. The Blazer is currently for sale but seems like no one wants to spend the money to own one!!! Guess I will hang on to it for now and take the top off when it gets warmer. Hope to trade information with you soon. Bill

Thanks for the welcome guys! I've been on the site most of the day and I've already picked up a lot of good info. I was hoping for more in the FS section for my truck though...seems everyone has a current gen truck.

Bill, I know what you mean about the money pits that K5's can be. I bought one for $700 back when I was in the military just as a toy...the thing spent more time broken down than driven. I would love to have another K5 that is in better condition eventually. Where in VA are you?
